Here at Sculptureum we are inspired by some notable works of art and the artists behind them. Our Art Series reflects our dedication to producing reserve wines of superb quality and craftsmanship.
Our Garden Series wines are inspired by the superb views from the slopes of Sculptureum Vineyard out over our Sculpture Gardens and Little and Great Barrier Islands.
A finely structured wine with natural lime acidity, peach, almond and citrus on the nose, crisp, dry and mineral and then red cherry on the palate, with a clean lingering finish.
Please allow the wine to breathe for 15-20 mins after opening.
On a sun-soaked hill beyond the Gardens is the vineyard that produces Sculptureum’s award-winning wines. The 14 acre vineyard overlooks the sculpture gardens with views out to Little and Great Barrier Islands.
The vineyard was first planted in 1994 as Hyperion Winery and prior to that, it was a dairy farm. In 2007 Sandra and Anthony Grant increased the size of the vineyard and changed the varieties of grapes grown. The vineyard has held sustainable accreditations since 2011. Our wine styles are new world with approachable balance and concentration.
